The Gothic-class Brazen joined Battlegroup Fortitas after the success that the Firebrand met when combating the Chaos fleets Admiral Ruckdog was facing. Later, when Battlegroup Fortitas came to blows with a portion of the Salamanders Space Marine fleet, her lances proved invaluable in penetrating the tough armor of the Astartes vessels.  As a basic component of the Fortitas battle line, she has seen a great deal of action and acquitted herself well.
