My Top 5 Upcoming Games for the GameCube

This spring, a number of high quality first and third party games are coming to the GameCube. Here are the ones I am most looking forward to. In order to make this list, the game has to have a solid release date in the first 6 months of 2004.

5. Sonic Heroes (06 January 2004)

The newest Sonic game purports to return the series to its action-plat former roots. I am looking forward to it just because it is a new sonic game!

4. Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (04 March 2004)

This is a remake of the original Playstation game for the GameCube. I haven't had a whole lot of experience with the MGS series. I never played much of the original Playstation game, so I am naturally looking forward to this title more than usual.

3. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (09 February 2004)

I have yet to play a poor Final Fantasy game, although my experience with the series is mainly limited to FF 6, FF 7, and FF Tactics Advance. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to seeing the innovative GBA-GC connectivity this game makes use of.

2. Tales of Symphonia (30 June 2004)

The more I see and here of this game, the better it sounds. There was a review of the Japanese copy of the game posted on PlanetGameCube not to long ago. You might find it interesting.

1. Harvest Moon: It's A Wonderful Life (4 March 2004)

If this game is half as good as Harvest Moon 64 was, then I can't wait to play this game. The Harvest Moon series is highly addictive, and its blend of farming and dating is so off-beat that it winds up being highly memorable.
