Another week has almost gone by, so I considered it
to be high time to post something new on Andy's Random Stuff.
Actually, there are multiple something's. First, as
you may have noticed, there is a link at the top of the page where you
can find information on how to join my Kings of Chaos army. Really, all
you have to do is click once and you are done forever, so please help me
out and do so. It is almost like taking a poll, really.
I have posted some impressions for Final Fantasy
Tactics Advance. It is quite a game, and I think that it is one of the
best GBA games I have played thus far. I have never had a really strong
attachment to Square or the Final Fantasy series, though I have played a
few of the FF games including IV, IIV, and IIIV. This has been enough
exposure to reveal the high quality of these games, but it has not been
enough to enamor me to the series to the point where I am standing in
line for each new installment. As I have mostly played Nintendo and Sega
systems, their newer games have been inaccessible to me, anyway. I
picked this game up based on the strength of the recommendations I was
reading online, and I am glad I did. Check out the article below for
more info.
I have also gotten around to updating the
About page. Some
of the information was out of date and the link to my picture was
busted. That's all squared away now.
I would like to devote a few lines to the state of
the Academy, if I may. The academic buildings are still in shambles, for
even if they sustained no flood damage they are still without air
conditioning. This results in incredibly miserable conditions,
especially on warmer days like today. Most other aspects of the Brigade
life are getting back to normal, although with so many contractors
present for the repairs parking is even more limited.
The football team will be playing Rutgers
tomorrow, which should be an interesting game. Their team is favored to
win, but only because they have the home field advantage. Personally, I
think they are going down. We shall see!
That's all for now. I am going to be getting back
to Final Fantasy Tactics, if you don't mind. |
